The project Community/Field Officer/Assistant is responsible for the organization and control of the activities of the ARCS "----------" project in the beneficiary communities. He/she will implement and monitor project activities based on the project description and action plan.
Job Description:
General duties
- Organizes events and activities related to the project in Yerevan and regions.
- Organizes and implements volunteer management and recruitment activities within the program.
- Ensures inclusion of volunteers in program functions.
- Organizes the process of compiling and maintaining a database of project beneficiaries and volunteers.
- Coordinates the work of volunteers in the functions of the project,
- Organizes the implementation of capacity building activities.
- Needs assessment and monitoring are carried out within the program.
- Organizes the work of the training centre, activities and events for the local and Artsakh kids.
- Supports the work of the project coordinator.
- Participates in the trainings provided by the program.
Required qualifications
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent presentation, polite, motivated by project objectives, pro-active;
- Capacities to establish strong and durable links with official representatives at the local level, heads of c of rescue service fire stations, chiefs of Volunteer Fire Rescue Groups (VFRGs);
- Good understanding of remote community environment, interest for working with rural population;
- Available for regular, numerous, travels in remote communities with stay overnight
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
- University degree;
- Minimum of 2 years' professional experience;
- Experience with rural communities is not compulsory but highly desirable;
- Excellent skills in word, excel and power point
Languages: Armenian native speaker, English is required, Russian is a plus.
