The joint program of the Armenian Red Cross Society and the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RA "Institutionalization of the First Response Voluntary Service"
One representative from each regional department of the Rescue Service rescue forces participates in the training. Davit Nersisyan, the President of the ARCS, Bagrat Vardazaryan, the Deputy Head of the Rescue Forces of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, Klaus Kaper, the Head of the Technical Cooperation Coordination Office in Armenia, and other colleagues were present at the training course launch ceremony.
Within the framework of the project, volunteer fire-rescue groups have already been formed in 12 communities of ten regions of Armenia which receive appropriate knowledge to deal with disasters.
