On October 25, the Armenian Red Cross Society Secretary General Dr. Anna Yeghiazaryan welcomed the delegation led by the president of the territorial organization of the German Red Cross Baden-Wuerttemberg Barbara Bosch.
- The German Red Cross was one of the first to help Armenia after the ruinous earthquake in Spitak in 1988. Since then, the continuous cooperation of our National Societies has started, and during these years, the multi-disciplinary programs implemented for the benefit of our beneficiaries have also contributed to the development of the Armenian Red Cross Society, said Ms. Yeghiazaryan, welcoming the guests.
Ms. Bosch, highly appreciating the activities of the ARCS in providing humanitarian support to the displaced people since September 24, expressed her willingness to discuss possible support formats from the territorial organization of the German Red Cross Baden-Wuerttemberg.
At the end of the meeting, Ms. Anna Yeghiazaryan presented the guest with a commemorative medal dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the ARCS and the book "One Hundred Years of Humanity" dedicated to the history of the ARCS.
