On the 10th to 13th of June, the Belarusian Red Cross delegation visited the Armenian Red Cross Society. Natalia Zhak-Halhouskaya( project coordinator, Belarus Red Cross Society, Secretariat), Andrei Martynouski (project coordinator, Mogilev oblast Red Cross Society) , Aliaksandr Staravoitau( member of presidium of Mogilev oblast Red Cross Society, member of Parliament) and Yuliya Davidzenka ( Ministry of Labour and Social welfare, Employment policy department) visited for experience exchange and getting acquainted with the” EU4Youth: Fostering potential for greater employability” project activities.
EU4Youth initiative implements a similar project also in Belarus and Georgia and as a successful experience, the Belarusian Red Cross considered the above-mentioned project of the Armenian Red Cross Society. The Belarusian partners visited the ARCS head office and got acquainted with the achieved successes of the first year. Meetings were held with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the Business Support Center, the Association of Armenian Social Enterprises, Gavar Municipality, Gegharkunik Region NGOs and other partners. They also met with the leaders and members of the Yerevan and Gavar youth clubs.
The project under the EU4Youth initiative has been developed by the Danish Red Cross (Dansk Rode Kors) and its partners in co-applicants Belarus Red Cross Society, Armenian Red Cross Society, and Georgia Red Cross Society. The project will improve education and employment opportunities for disadvantaged youth groups.
