The Armenian Red Cross Society organized a three-day training course on first Aid for Gyumri 24-hour care center staff and volunteers within the frames of “Working together for quality care, well-being and dignity” (W2) project funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation and in cooperation with the Austrian Red Cross.
66 volunteers and care staff attended the training which equipped them with theoretical and practical knowledge on emergency action principles, unconscious victim, recovery position, burns, bone and joint injuries and so on, skills that are essential for staff working with people with elderly as well people with special needs.
The trainings were conducted by the ARCS trained instructors.
