On December 27, the Armenian Red Cross Society organized a New Year's event for the residents of Gyumri 24-hours Care Center.
Gyumri Mayor Vardges Samsonyan, advisor to the Secretary General of the Armenian Red Cross Society Hayk Kotanyan, and the staff of Gyumri 24-hours Care Center were present during the event.
Welcoming the attendees and congratulating them on the upcoming holidays, they noted that the conditions and quality of services for the residents of care center have improved in recent years of joint efforts and continuous work. In particular, the overhaul of the second building of the center is coming to an end and staff training continues.
The "Armenian Ornaments" dance ensemble performed for the audience in an immediate atmosphere.
158 residents of care center received New Year's gifts from the Armenian Red Cross Society. The event was organized with the financial support of the Austrian Development Cooperation and in cooperation with the Austrian Red Cross within the framework of the "Working together for quality care, well-being and dignified life" project.
