On 7 February, Information session took place in the Reception Center for Asylum-Seekers. The aim of the session was to present projects to be implemented by the organizations operating in the field, amendments in relevant legislation, as well as to answer questions of asylum seekers.
Representatives of UNHCR, State Migration Service, Armenian Red Cross Society, Mission Armenia, Kasa Foundation and Centre for Coordination of Syrian Armenian Issues NGO participated in the event.
Asylum Seekers were provided with the informative bulletin on their rights. The bulletin was translated to several languages with the initiative of UNHCR.
They were mostly interested in legal procedures related to their status and also the ways of receiving appropriate support. All the asylum seekers received answers to their questions.
